So Long & Thanks For All The Fish

Oddly enough, when I went to the chemist to get the requisite electrolytes to replace all the salts my body has lost, the first question the pharmacist asked was if I was taking anything to stop the process. Hmm … as my body appeared to be frantically trying to throw off a toxic load of lunch – courtesy of the fish family, now officially off my Christmas card list – it seemed a bit daft to try and hold it in there. Is your life intentionally risk-free (and therefore dull)? Where, when something bad happens, do you frantically try to stop a necessary healing process? Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to shake off something that’s poisoning our lives. Temporary pain is worth the price of healing.
Be brave, bite the bullet and let go of something toxic this week – although hopefully not quite as literally as I have …
